Could Terrell Owens catch on in New England?

Terrell Owens says he’ll be ready to play by week three after undergoing surgery to fix a torn ACL.  Would Bill Belichick consider bringing him to New England.

We know BB likes reclamation projects.  He brought in Corey Dillon and won a Super Bowl.  He plucked Randy Moss off the Raiders’ scrapheap, and made him the key cog in a record-setting offense.

And this off-season he’s already brought in Chad Ochocinco and Albert Haynesworth.  And earlier this week the team worked out T.J. Houshmandzadeh, a wide out who was nowhere near as productive as Owens was last season (Owens had 72 catches for 983 with the Bengals; Houshmandzadeh had 30 for 398).

So I wouldn’t rule out TO taking his talents to Route 1.
