Stricker Leads, Tiger 14 Back in 1st Round of PGA Championship

The first round of the PGA Championship is underway outside of Atlanta where Steve Stricker currently holds a 2 shot lead at 7 under over Alexander Noren. The other story is that Tiger Woods, who is playing in only his second tournament since May and first major since the Masters in April finished his first round just a little while ago at 7 over and a whole 14 shots back of Stricker currently. Woods, who started with 3 birdies in the first 5 holes later double-bogeyed the 6th hole of his day and it all went downhill from there. After the first 5 holes of his day at 3 under, Woods finished the last 13 holes at a disastrous 10 over par. Woods, who is certainly still rusty having not played very much could possibly not make the cut after tomorrow’s round.
